Scottie Pippen Sells Out NFT in 77 Seconds as Floor Price Nearly Doubles!

Michael Jordan is one of the most successful athletes turned businessman in the world. Much like him, his former teammate Scottie Pippen is a bit of an entrepreneur himself.

Pippen has several businesses. From his own bourbon Digits to his recent investment into the NFT space. The Bulls legend is making several moves.

In particular, the aforementioned move into the NFT market is interesting. Pippen launched his own NFT called SP33 in partnership with Orange Comet. And they recently sold out in a record-breaking 77 seconds!

Scottie Pippen’s NFT SP33 sells out in a record 77 seconds

Last year, Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen announced that he would be entering the NFT market with SP33. A collection that consists of 1000 NFTs or “unique metaverse sneakers”.

On December 21st, they were released, and all 1000 sold out in a record-breaking 77 seconds. A huge deal for both Scottie and his partners at Orange Comet.

The initial floor price for the NFT was around 0.20 ETH, which is equivalent to $265. The sales were so successful, that they nearly doubled to 0.324 ETH or $430.

Safe to say that Pippen’s NFT venture was a huge success. Clearly showing that his success on the court can be replicated in the business world as well.

SP33 holders will receive a ton of benefits courtesy of Scottie Pippen himself

While owning the NFT is an amazing thing in itself, some SP33 holders are in line for a whole lot more. 33 random NFT holders will receive a $100 discount on sneakers, another 33 will receive autographed sneakers from Scottie Pippen himself, two holders will get to play a round of golf with him, and finally, one lucky owner will be treated to a VIP dinner, and receive a tour of the Hall of Famer’s hometown.

If that isn’t value for money, it’s hard to say what is. SP33 holders must be quite ecstatic about their purchase.
